Planning

Planning: How do I get there?

My first inclination is to devise a schedule. I have 44 symbols to learn in 6 weeks. If I learn a new row of symbols every week, I will reach my goal.

*Every Tuesday and Friday (the evenings I don't teach), I will spend an hour practicing with the interactive phonemic chart. I have found 5 resources doing a quick online search. I will try them all to discover which ones are the most user friendly and appeal most to my learning preferences.

* I will set homework for myself use teaching materials from work, online worksheets, and activities I create myself. I will print out 6 different resources once a week (Sundays, while I'm at work) and complete 1 each evening as I'm learning a new symbol.

I'm prepared for the first couple of weeks to be difficult, but I will save my work so I can see the progress I've made as time goes on!
